- Hello! I am a first grade teacher in Columbia, SC. I graduated from the University of South Carolina (GO COCKS!!) with my degree in Early Childhood Education and this is my fifth year teaching. I am working on my Masters in Reading and Literacy K-6. Besides teaching and most importantly I am a wife and mother. My wonderful husband, Blake often helps me with stuff that I create for my classroom. You will see his name in my posts. My beautiful daughter, Anna Heath is 2 and every bit of it ;)! She will probably be the reason that I will be occassionally MIA on here. When I am not teaching I enjoy being outside, the beach, Carolina football games, bright colors, movies, and being with friends. I have had some friends say that they would like to see what I do in my classroom...this is my attempt to share what I create and do. Many of the items that you will see are ideas inspired by my addiction....PINTEREST! Isn't that the BEST CREATION EVER!?! Enjoy!
